Nicknamed “Jaimo” by Fort Worth based band he runs sound for, The Peach Truck Republic, creating great audio is his passion and everything he’s learned has led him to this studio and concert hall. “I get to do something different everyday, it’s the perfect job for the guy with adult ADD” says Jay. “Whether it’s live sound, studio recording, a theatrical production or a corporate meeting the principals of good sound are the same. Practicing the fundamentals of audio is like an athlete practicing the fundamentals of their sport. It really does help to be grounded in the basics.”

In the fall of 2006 Jay became a Digidesign Certified Pro Tools Operator. After attending 10 days of extensive training and taking 4 tests he became one of the few certified Pro Tools Operators in the state of Arkansas. “It’s all about keeping up with the Jones’….you think it’s hard keeping up with us, you ought to try being one!”
